It was in the 80s today - so hot as a bugger. Or HMA in the Callahan household. We used the kids bathtub and a storage container from IKEA for pools. Hey, whatever works! But it does make us miss the Boca beaches.

Sob, our little baby has turned 1. Can hardly believe a year has flown by, and that's with moving, traveling and everything else. She's a walking like she owns the place-machine. After ripping open presents, Saoirse licked and licked the frosting and figures off her cake and loved every ounce of sugar.

May 26-29

The Welch/Callahan's hit Rome for some sights, warm weather and pasta! Oh and to have Ciaran exorcised by the Pope but he was out of town (better luck next time). We all got sun (which is a far cry from what we get in depressing Brussels), ate too much, and enjoyed Peroni and gelati. We LOVE the Italians - a very friendly sort and can't wait until this summer when we stop there during our road trip. CIAO!
